Our trade helps provide financial independence to over 600 women across 11 villages in Northern Ghana. We also pay a premium on top of a fair price to help invest in community projects. Today, over 49,000 people benefit from this premium fund, including healthcare, sanitation and education projects. So far, six schools and a health clinic have been built from these investments. Our Body Butter also contains Community Fair Trade babassu oil from Brazil, and its tub is also made with 100% recycled plastic. This includes Community Fair Trade recycled plastic collected off the streets of Bengaluru, India, where our partnership helps provide waste pickers with a fair price and improved working conditions.
